Helping People During COVID-19

Here's how we're helping others during coronavirus social distancing.

We'll be updating the ways we can help our community here. Check out the opportunities below:

Henrico County Public Schools Supply needs

Henrico County Schools does NOT need volunteers at this time but they DO need supplies.

Here is what they need :


Food: Juice boxes, cereal, instant oatmeal, cereal bars, fruit cups, canned goods (pop tops and ready to eat), individual snack bags (pretzels, chips, cookies), soup, canned meat.


Hygiene Items: Disinfectant wipes, hand soap, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products.


General: Grocery bags, large ziplock bags.


Here's where to drop-off donations for the next two weeks:

Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (with some flexibility as needed).

RIchmond City Public Schools Volunteer Need

Virginia's Kids Belong Foster Care Survival kits

Help support foster families by donating items for building Foster Care Survival Kits.

Quarantine Care Packages

Velocity will be providing Quarantine Care Packages at the request of local residents who live within a 5 mile radius of our building and are self or physician quarantined due to health concerns regarding COVID-19. We will do our best to provide any special need items or special dietary needs. We have a great team of people who've signed up to help with this.
